Thailand 50 Baht: Prince royal cradle ceremony

This 50 Baht coin was released on the occasion of first birthday of prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti, the son of crown prince Vajiralongkorn and princess Srirasmi, who happens to be the third legal wife of the crown prince. The prince Dipangkorn turned 1 on 29th April, 2006. There were lots of pictures of the prince with his relatives, most notably with the king Bhumibol Adulyadej and queen Sirikit, who are his grandparents. Princess Srirasmi later held a small birthday party at their residence, Sukothai palace on 29 April 2006.
