The Khadi 5 rupee minted in copper nickel alone is worth at about 1500 rupees, maybe more.

Released on the occasion of 50 years of the inception of the Khadi and village industries commission, this coin shows the image of Mahatma Gandhi on the reverse as he was the one who underlined the importance of swadeshi(country made) goods, like from the khadi industry in the villages. Also shown is a village scene and a woman weaving cloth on a charkha.
